Towing match

Use the sticker, not the brochure.

Enter the truck you have and the trailer you are considering. Payload and GCWR come from your door. Trailer GVWR, dry weight, and pin weight come from the trailer placard or a scale.

RigFix does not look up manufacturer tow charts and does not certify a combination. Payload, GCWR, trailer GVWR, dry weight, and pin weight are whatever you type from your door sticker, trailer placard, or a scale. Options, passengers, water, and cargo change the real numbers. Weigh the loaded truck and trailer before you travel. If a result says you are over, believe the sticker, not a forum post.

Truck

Year, cab, bed, engine, and axle ratio label the result. They are not looked up, and they do not change the math. Payload and GCWR come from your door sticker.

Example only: Ram 2500. Not a lookup.

Example only: crew cab.

Example only: 6 ft 4 in.

Example only: 6.7 diesel. Not a spec sheet.

Example only: 3.73.
