RigFix is a known-issues directory and a newsletter. It runs without a third-party account unless you add one.
Who we are
RigFix is an independent project for Owners of Grand Design Reflection, Solitude, and Momentum fifth wheels, and Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. It is not Ram, Stellantis, or Grand Design RV. Questions go to hello@rigfixhq.com.
The signup form stores your email, the page you signed up from, and, on the alerts form, the brand, model, and year you picked. When RESEND_API_KEY and RESEND_AUDIENCE_ID are both set, that address is sent to Resend as a contact on that segment. Beehiiv is used instead when you set NEWSLETTER_PROVIDER=beehiiv and both Beehiiv credentials, including Beehiiv's welcome email. Without a configured provider, the address is written to a JSON file on this server. We do not sell the list.
A successful signup also sets a cookie named rigfix_reader so a future “email required” checklist gate can open in that browser. The cookie is not a login.
Suggestions
Listing suggestions, including an optional email and website, are stored the same way and are not published by themselves.
Analytics and errors
Page views and a few actions (signup, a finished towing check, a printed checklist, a suggestion) are appended to a local log. The log is not supposed to contain your email. If you set NEXT_PUBLIC_ANALYTICS_ENDPOINT, the same event is also sent there. Errors in the browser and on the server are written to a local error log. If you set ERROR_LOG_WEBHOOK, a copy is posted to that URL. Neither variable is required.
Directory data
The stops shipped with this version are fictional sample data. They are marked that way on the page. Owner-reported issues are unverified samples that cite public threads. Official recalls are requested from NHTSA when you open a model year.
